Polly Beauchene — Office Coordinator
Polly has over 10 years of experience working in the automotive industry and plays a key role in keeping Kennedy Automotive running smoothly. She enjoys connecting with customers and making the repair process simple and stress-free. Polly loves being part of a team that customers can trust to repair their vehicles correctly the first time. Outside of work she volunteers with women in recovery and enjoys caring for houseplants. Fun fact: Polly once sang in a band.
Scott McSparron — Service Manager
Scott brings 20 years of automotive experience to Kennedy Automotive and helps ensure every customer receives honest recommendations and excellent service. He enjoys helping customers understand exactly what their vehicle needs. Scott believes customers trust Kennedy Automotive because the team always does the right thing and stands behind their work. When he's not at the shop, he enjoys spending time with his daughters.
Henry Edmonds — Technician
Henry has 12 years of experience in the automotive industry and specializes in European vehicles, particularly Mercedes-Benz and BMW. He takes pride in being part of a team that works together and double checks repairs to make sure every vehicle leaves the shop right. Henry’s favorite vehicle he’s worked on is a Mercedes-Benz C300. Outside of work he enjoys golfing, riding dirt bikes, and off-roading in his truck. Fun fact: he owns seven motorcycles.
Mark Sibley — Technician
Mark has more than 30 years of automotive experience and specializes in Chevrolet vehicles and electrical diagnostics. He enjoys working at Kennedy Automotive because of the strong team atmosphere and commitment to quality work. Mark’s favorite vehicle he has owned is a Chevrolet Silverado. Outside the shop he enjoys playing guitar and relaxing with video games.
Cris Reyes — Apprentice Technician
Cris is an apprentice technician with a growing passion for the automotive industry. He has been working on vehicles for about a year and a half and focuses primarily on GM and diesel trucks. Cris enjoys the positive environment at Kennedy Automotive and appreciates how organized the shop operates. In his free time he enjoys working on his truck and spending time outdoors.
Dustin Poetzscher — Shop Foreman
Dustin has 27 years of experience in the automotive industry and specializes in diesel vehicles. As shop foreman, he leads the technician team and helps ensure every repair meets Kennedy Automotive’s high standards. Dustin enjoys mentoring younger technicians and helping them grow in their careers. Outside of work he enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, cooking, and gardening.
Rick Russ — Technician
Rick has more than 30 years of experience working on vehicles and specializes in diesel, European, and heavy-duty repairs. He enjoys working alongside the team at Kennedy
Automotive and takes pride in giving every customer 100% effort on every repair. One of his favorite vehicles he’s worked on is a classic 1968 Chevelle. When he’s not in the shop, Rick enjoys spending time outdoors.
Drew Newbold — Owner
Drew Newbold is the owner of Kennedy Automotive and is committed to building one of Wilmington’s most trusted and respected auto repair shops. His vision for the shop is simple: repair vehicles the right way, treat customers honestly, and build a team of professionals who take pride in their work. Drew believes the strength of any great repair shop is the people behind it. That’s why he focuses on bringing together talented technicians, investing in the latest tools and diagnostic equipment, and creating an environment where the team can deliver the highest level of service to every customer who walks through the door. Outside of the shop, Drew enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, and being on the water along the North Carolina coast.
